Ken Dodd, Chair of Environment sub com. has been informed that Wexford CC intend to carry out work on the bank of the Slaney, downstream of Bunclody during the month of August. He understands that Wexford CC has all the necessary permissions that are required. Ken has discussed this proposal at some length with the engineer involved and has made suggestions that should mitigate the impact of the works.
